The "Fratelli APRILE" farm has always combined the millenary tradition of olive growing with the innovation of the very modern oil mill with which it works. the entire production process is carried out on the farm for total control of the quality of the extra-virgin olive oil. the extra-virgin olive oils are monocultivar, extracted from the Biancolilla and Cetrale varieties, typical of the Scicli area and the Valle dell'Irminio which crosses the extreme edge of south-eastern Sicily, with which the farm maintains a strong bond. The olives are selected, hand-picked at the right degree of ripeness and pressed in the oil mill within six hours. thanks to this attention the oils have a low acidity, with unique characteristics for aroma, color and refined taste. They are therefore perfect oils to season and magnify every dish and, at the same time, to satisfy the most demanding palates. the undisputed quality of these Sicilian oils is enhanced by the products in the catalog that MPCShop.it offers its customers: EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL OF SICILY The name of this oil EVO comes from a number, the 274The first of October is the 274th day of the year but it is also the first day of collection of this extra virgin olive oil that lasts until November 15.Extra virgin olive oil of the Biancolilla cultivar, its olives are harvested by hand and after a careful selection are ground for six hours in cold, golden yellow with green reflections, the smell is very persistent, characterized by the clean scent of olive with distinct hints of fresh grass, thistle, basil and green tomato. EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL OF SICILY The name of this oil EVO comes from the Greek Agathos "very good" Greek definition that stands for excellence, divine. extra virgin olive oil of the cultivar Biancolilla, its olives are harvested by hand and after a careful selection are milled for six hours cold to appearance appears intense green. The nose is very persistent, characterized by the clear scent of olive with distinct hints of freshly cut grass, artichoke, basil and green tomato. The taste is full and ample, harmonious, balanced, pleasantly spicy and bitter with an aftertaste of sweet almond and hints of artichoke. It is suitable for raw use on refined fish dishes, red meats, bruschettas, salads and vegetables. EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL OF SICILY - FRUIT INTENSE Directly from the Valle dell`Irminio arrives this Central cultivar, of Arab origin now made its own of this territory. the olives are harvested by hand between the first and twenty-five October, after careful selection ground for six hours cold. the appearance appears intense green. The nose is very persistent, characterized by the clean scent of green tomato and in a lesser tone of fresh grass and leaf. The taste is full and intense, harmonious, spicy and bitter in balance with an aftertaste of artichoke and spices. It is suitable for use raw on red meat dishes, roasts, legumes, salads, pinzimonio and on desserts of ricotta.
