Recipe from the Black Countess of the Mint Long Drink Ingredients 2 scoops of well-frozen lemon sorbet a few leaves of fresh mint 1/2 tablespoon of mint syrup 1 tablespoon of vodka (or lemon vodka), sugar-smoking or champagne PreparationFor one person put 2 scoops of well-frozen lemon sorbet in the blender. Add a few leaves of fresh mint, half a tablespoon of mint syrup and a tablespoon of iced vodka or lemon vodka and mix until a liquid and homogeneous mixture is obtained. Wet the edges of a long drink cup with water and pass them in the sugar: they must be frosty. Pour in the prepared drink and fill the glass with sparkling wine or champagne, garnish with a few sprigs of mint and serve immediately, well frozen. Serve after dinner or, reducing doses, as a refreshing aperitif. |
